Tales Among the Shelves

My love for peace drew me to visit different libraries,
It made me explore various activities, various culture,
Each and every library connected me to something meaningful,
It gave me the memories that I will always nurture.

Papakura Library has become my second home,
It’s my comfort place that ignites motivation inside me,
I participated in and designed various activities for them,
It’s that part of the city, where my heart always wants to be.

Takaninni Library was a small and warm space,
A part of the town that screamed serenity,
It helped me connect to the Māori culture,
Every sector of library attached me to this incredible community.

Manurewa Library’s visit made me relive my festivals,
As there were many captivating activities and events,
I found a huge collection of books in different languages,
A simple opportunity to learn various dialects and accents.

Mangere Library was combination of peace and bustle,
The Town Centre was filled with crowd while the library was peaceful
Librarians there, helped the customers with digital landscapes,
The contrast between bustle and serenity was truly blissful.

Tupu Library was the hub of games, ping pong and crafts,
It had a mini community garden to respect and nourish the nature,
School kids were invited and engaged in those activities,
And were given iPads to explore and enjoy as a reward later.

Botany library had a whole different vibe,
The environment was lively and the space was vast,
One corner of the library was perfect for privacy and focus,
While another corner was perfect for children to have a blast.

Preet” thanks all the libraries for their facilities,
And respect each and every space, every staff,
Truly, these visits have enhanced my sea of knowledge,
It has helped me to increase my skills and observation’s graph.
