Independence Pride

The day of 15th August 1947,
For Indians it was the heaven.

For 200 years we were slaves,
Sacrificing innumerable braves.

Achieving Independence was not facile,
As the hearts were full of hostile.

Many people sacrificed their lives,
Many women became widows from wives.

From British rule we got this liberty,
After India had become blooded sea.

Now it is 74th Independence Day,
It’s feeling of proud when we say.

Let’s remember those who martyred for our nation,
Being an Independent India, let’s become a motivation.

On this Independence Day, “Preet” wishes harmony for our country,
So that our Bharat remains at the top for century and century
