This year has been a year of change, A difference that impacted my inner self, The shift was both exciting and strange, But behind my back was support of the elf. From study pattern to language, From habits to means of living, From seeking help to gaining courage, From staying together to missing. I opened my arms for new opportunities, And changed me to be more independent, I mingled with different communities, Evolving myself was the only thing constant. I observed more, I explored more, This new country, its new culture, Even though challenges were to the core, I learnt to cherish and to nurture. I missed my home where I spent my childhood, The people who were close to my heart, I missed the festivals, celebrations and food, But all this was with me even if I was apart. This year brought positivity and maturity, I prepared myself to face the difficulties, Instead, I received was support and purity, There was a sense of warmness in this breeze. “Preet” truly enjoyed this shift, And ...

She prays for her child’s good health, She prays for her child’s success and wealth, She worships for her child’s excellence, She worships to be capable of fulfilling her child’s preference, She walks to holy places for her child’s improvements, She walks to holy places on her child’s achievements. She performs rituals and offerings for her child’s expansion, She performs rituals and offerings for her child’s life satisfaction.
